Intimate Wedding of Ari and Ben at Carkeek Park

We love this park ... and often walk the area or bicycle to it.  In fact, Ben and Ari are standing at one of our favorite spots!

The couple found a quiet place to exchange their vows.

Love brings happiness ... and it is irresistable.

This is a very, very happy couple!

Married!!!  And life is good.

Wishing Ari and Ben a most wonderful and long life together!!

Many thanks to  Erik and Marissa Ciccarelli of Ciccarelli Photography for their photographs.

Holiday Wedding Ceremony at the Salish Lodge & Spa

Darrell and Amy are happily married - Kent Buttars, Seattle Wedding Officiant.

There is something about holiday weddings that make them very special.  Darrell and Robyn decided to exchange their vows on December 21st, the winter solstice.  (Absolutely love the solstice - the days will soon be getting longer.)

Decorations added to the sense of wonder and magic.

The two look so very happy!

Thankfully, the weather was amazingly cooperative and Robyn and Darrell had a chance to get outside and take some photos ... as well as getting in a hug and a cuddle and, of course, a kiss.

This morning was a treat!  Melissa and Amber traveled from Mississippi to wed in Seattle.  In preparation for the "big day," we talked about a number of places where they would enjoy sharing their marriage vows.  The two settled on Parsons Garden at 6:00am.  And, then photos are nearby Kerry Park.

The couple decided to wed near the entrance of the Garden.  It was a quiet time and the sun was just peeking over the tree line.

Amber and Melissa invested quite a bit of thought on the wording of their ceremony.  We all agree that words are important and they wanted to be sure that what was said on their wedding truly suited them.

Amber took some time and wrote these words of intent.

"Marriage is a binding commitment of trust, honesty, promise, and unconditional love. So many people spend their lives searching for true love and we are so fortunate to have found it in each other. It is our recognition and appreciation of this love that brings us here today. We are prepared to embrace this love wholeheartedly and mindfully with patience, respect, and understanding. Today is dedicated to this ultimate decision to share our life experiences, accomplishments, and dilemmas together as one for the rest of our lives."

After the ceremony, we walked to Kerry Park for some photos.  It really is a beautiful view from there.

Wishing Amber and Melissa the best in their married life!  I'm sure it is going to be a good one.

A Classic Wedding for a Classy Couple!

Amanda and Chris are wed!! Wedding ceremony officiated by Patricia Stimac, Seattle Wedding Officiant
Amanda and Chris celebrated their marriage in a private ceremony surrounded by their mothers, siblings and other family members.  It was a classic wedding ceremony with colors of black and silver.  The ladies all wore peacock feathers in their hair.

Their vows were sweet and meaningful:
I promise to share my life with you
to be your friend, confidant, and strongest ally
to respect you in my words and actions,
both when we’re together and when we’re apart
to value you as an individual, partner, and equal
to honor you with trust and faithfulness
to nurture you in sickness and in health
to help you navigate life’s trials and accept your guidance
to seek new adventures wherever we may find ourselves
to help you forge the path to your dreams
to communicate with you when life gets complicated
to celebrate the good times and weather the bad
to find a way back to you when distance comes between us
to keep humor and laughter alive in our life
            to love you forever.
Wishing these two the happiest of marriages!

Thanks to Erika, Chris's sister, for the photo.

Green Lake Wedding Complete with Canada Geese

What a fun wedding!  Jeremy and Jennifer stopped by our place for a private wedding ceremony before heading to Puerto Vallarta to celebrate a formal wedding with 22 of their family members and closest friends.

Jennifer arrived carrying her wedding gown ... and curious thoughts of transporting her wedding dress through the airport and onto the air plane came to mind.  Looking forward to hearing more in the near future.

After preparing the marriage documents so they would be easily signed after the ceremony, off the three went (Kent officiated) to nearby Green Lake (we are just blocks away).

During the ceremony, the Canada geese arrived.  One pair honked on the lake and then flew away as Kent spoke about Jennifer and Jeremy embarking on a new stage in their lives.  How synchronistic is that!

Then, while the couple exchanged their vows, Momma Goose, Pappa Goose and their goslings toddled over and plopped themselves down right next to Jeremy and Jennifer.  They remained there, gazing up at the newlyweds! So cute, so adorable.

After the personal part of the ceremony, two of the Green Lakers were invited to witness the marriage.  What a special way to celebrate a sunny day in Seattle!

Then it was time for Jennifer and Jeremy to make it legal!   And to head off to Mexico (Las Caletas to be exact) ... hasta luego.

Wishing the newlyweds a most excellent life together.

Intimate, Elegant, Inspiring - Wedding at the Salish Lodge!

The happy couple on their terrace right over the Falls.
What a wonderful wedding!

Richard and Angela love hiking and backpacking and all thing outdoors.  So they wanted to marry in a place that had all the elements of nature that they love so much. They traveled from Oregon to Snoqualmie Falls.

The ceremony took place in their suite at the Salish Lodge.  The two had decorated it to include a table for the unity candle they lit and a place to sign their marriage documents.  Roses everywhere.  It was so romantic!
Angela and Richard were so happy

Kristen from the Salish and Bruce, the photographer, were the witnesses.

A tub for two

Then, it was time for some couple's photos.  We joked that they had two tubs and a phone for each ... but there was obviously a better thought.

The room itself was wonderful!  A perfect place to enjoy a kiss.

Followed by a five star dinner at the restaurant.

It was a beautiful day and there were many places to take those wedding photos that captured the day.

May the two live happily ever after!

Ah ... and a kiss at sunset to celebrate a perfect day
... a day to always remember.

Many thanks to Bruce Berg for this innovative images.

We want to thank you, once again, for marrying us.  You did a truly magnificent job.  I can definitely tell you know how to do this.  Everything was so professional and so incredibly special.  Thank you SO much.
