Intimate Wedding of Ari and Ben at Carkeek Park

We love this park ... and often walk the area or bicycle to it.  In fact, Ben and Ari are standing at one of our favorite spots!

The couple found a quiet place to exchange their vows.

Love brings happiness ... and it is irresistable.

This is a very, very happy couple!

Married!!!  And life is good.

Wishing Ari and Ben a most wonderful and long life together!!

Many thanks to  Erik and Marissa Ciccarelli of Ciccarelli Photography for their photographs.

Private Wedding Ceremony at the Rotunda in Olympia

Talk about the "Wow" factor!  This is certainly the place.

Kent and I didn't even know you could wed here ... but you can.  You apply for a permit and you have an hour to perform the ceremony and take photos.

So when Lin and Taofei contacted us about their ceremony, it was such a delightful surprise.

The bride and groom decided on a 7:00am ceremony so it wouldn't be very busy in the Rotunda.  (As you may know, Kent isn't a morning person but he was up at 4:30am and excited about the wedding ceremony.) Once Taofei and Lin arrived on site, there were a number of beautiful places to choose from.

One of the things we love about intimate weddings is that they can be so very personal and unique.  There were words about how they met in undergrad school and their relationship developed to the point Lin and Taofei decided to wed.

Wishing the two a lifetime of happiness and prosperity in all things!

A Very Happy Couple Weds At The Salish Lodge

Luis and Mike wed at the Salish Lodge & Spa - Kent Buttars, Seattle Wedding Officiant

This is Luis and Miki - aren't they the most adorable?  Like all couples on their wedding day, these two were so very happy:  they simply radiated joy!

Luis, the groom, and Kent Buttars, Seattle Wedding Officiant, wait for the ceremony to begin.

Luis and Kent were ready and waiting for the ceremony to begin.  Don't they look pretty relaxed though?  This photo really makes me smile.

Love is Our True Destiny - Thomas Merton

Salish Lodge hosts Michelle & Joe's wedding - Kent Buttars, A Heavenly Ceremony
Destiny:  Joe and Michelle were meant to be together!  The two found themselves at the same place one morning.  Their paths had crossed and love was in their stars.

Joe described how he saw Michelle's eyes, yes, across the room, and knew she would be the woman he would one day wed.

Michelle realized she was in love when she took a trip to Boston and all she could think about was Joe.

So, of course, their mutual love lead to marriage!

It was an intimate ceremony which reflected deep feelings and great joy.

Love Melts the Snow at Laura and Phil's Winter Wedding

Laura and Phil marry at Alexander's Country Inn
Phil and Laura traveled all the way from Texas to wed at Alexander's Country Inn and Restaurant near Mt. Rainier National Park!

You see they visited the Park before and had a special moment at Narada Falls so it was the natural choice for their intimate ceremony.

Alexander's Country Inn is the perfect place for an intimate winter wedding

Loved the outfits!!  A classic black-and-white wedding.

(Alexander's also congratulates the couple on their sign!)

T
he attire was creative, the people were friendly, the event was joyous!

Chris and Tim arrived in street clothes and transformed into their medieval alter egos.

Soon after, Morgan arrived and stayed out of sight so she could make her grand entrance with her father, Rene.
